I know a lot of hard work and preparation went into this 3+ day event. My congratulations and heartfelt deepest admiration go out to the people who have given and continue to give so much for this vision.
This is the time! We can be one! Let's do it!
O Great Spirit,
whose voice we hear in the winds,
and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear us.
We come before you as your children.
We are small and weak; we need your strength and wisdom.
Let us walk in beauty
and make our eyes ever be…

The invitation pack is certainly beautiful. Good to see you have so much participation, congratulations on the huge community effort and especially the amazing partnership with Yoko Ono.
My Revised Schedule:
10PM Friday 9th to 3 AM Saturday 10th - The Pocket Imagines. Is music and fun the best possible future? - OhMy Kidd says YES. Does that make me a hedonist?
Installations at The Pocket throughout the festival: - Artworks and Artificial Intelligence by Stellarc and Pyewacket. Opening event…

Hi People. To share some sites about human rights in China that I'm interested in, hope it is of interest to you too!:
Music styles such as alternative rock, traditional, hip hop and spoken word all made to highlight the current persecution of the peacful tai chi practice of Falun Gong, persecuted in China by the Chinese Communist Party as we speak, which has put innocent people into labour camps in China today, it's an undercover Hiter's Germany in China right now. 3000 have been killed 10,000…

As I ride into work each day on the bus I’m able to observe the lines of cars commuting downtown each day while I cruise along in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane and I ask myself, ‘Why would anyone prefer to sit in creeping traffic when one can read, sleep, and talk to others on the various means of mass transit available in our metropolitan area?’ I suppose some have commitments that allow only for the drive to work option. Others, I agree, may need the car for work related matters but I…

DARING TO DREAM
Leaders like Nelson Mandela
Especially in Africa
Stop the good ones facing prison or assasination
Learn to live with less
Less materialism
Appreciate far more the things that are free and give us joy
Base property on usership, not ownership
Peace and safety
Fewer rules
Living like humanity evolved to live - 90% lolling around socialising, 10% work
Education should be about how to find happiness and enjoyment and fulfilment in life.
Make our dreams bold
Dream far ahead so we…

PeaceFest 09 is now behind us, and we are so thankful for all the amazing talent that came to share! Just take a look at the list of performers, when you get a chance: we had everything from classical piano to a japanese rock band, to a live poetry slam, to an amazing sound and light show.
AND, Peace Direct, Amnesty International, and the Edith Benson Babies Homes will each be receiving a third of the donations raised, totalling something around US…

I've been inspired lately to re-energize my creative side. Thought I'd Share a poem and solicit reactions. Thanks
What did you do to Japan Mr. Truman?
Didn’t you know what you’d done?
Did you forget that the victims were human
Seared by a heat like the sun?
And those that weren’t killed by the fiery explosion
Suffered and died from the rays
Gamma and X, what a horrid conclusion
You brought the end of their days
What did you there in Nam Mr. Johnson?
Napalm and Orange used like toys
Didn’t you…
